Why did you choose UCLA for residency?
I loved the ability to train at different types of ERs, and Antelope Valley sounds like a resident's dream with chaos and procedures left and right. Also the residents were all really down to Earth and friendly. I felt completely welcomed at the social and interview day. Lastly, I love this location- it may be pricey, but you get to live in a never ending vacation!
What else do you do in your free time? What hobbies do you have?
I love to stay up to date on the latest bachelor or bachelorette relationships and determine who really is there #fortherightreasons. My husband is really adventurous and I pretend to be adventurous too so that he will like me, so I'll do my best to surf, or ski down black diamonds, or go on really strenuous hikes with him during my free time, but I always feel like I'm going to die and then I can't move the next day. Also, I have the most enthusiastic dog named Romeo who I like to go exploring with and entertain when I have time off.
Are you involved in any research or national EM committees etc? If so, what?
I'm a proud member of EMRA. They give you a lot of cool stuff like mini dry erase markers and antibiotic guides when you sign up.
