Interests
I love arts and crafts and am often in the midst of working on multiple projects. You can find me making mosaics, ceramics, refinishing and decorating furniture, painting, and making jewelry. In my free time I also love reading, visiting museums, swing dancing, going to the beach, playing with my baby nephew, weight lifting, yoga, Pilates, hiking, and baking yummies.
Why did you choose UCLA for Residency?
UCLA-Olive View was my #1 choice because it has everything that I was looking for in a residency program: great academic resources, a diverse patient population, 50/50 academic and county split, and amazingly kind and welcoming residents, leadership, faculty, and staff that I met on my interview day!
What is your favorite place to visit/thing(s) to do in/memory from living in LA? If you have never lived here before, what are you most excited about?
Hiking, swimming in the ocean, visiting the Getty Museum, swing dancing at Lindy Groove, reading in UCLA's botanical garden
What are your areas of interest within EM or future career plans?
I'm interested in social emergency medicine and advocacy, EMS, and critical care.
