About Emergency Medicine Fellowships

The UCLA Department of Emergency Medicine sponsors a variety of fellowships across many subspecialties.  In most cases, our fellows are employed as Clinical Instructors at UCLA, and during clinical shifts, function as attending physicians.  The clinical time is spread across our sites, depending on fits the fellowship, including Reagan, Santa Monica, Olive View, Harbor, VA, Antelope Valley, and West Valley. 

Our Ultrasound and IDHEAL fellowships offer a unique collaboration across UCLA sites including Harbor, Olive View, Reagan, and VA, exposing the fellows to a diversity of experience and expertise. 

We also partner with other UCLA fellowships such as the National Clinician Scholars Program, Informatics, and Critical Care to help Emergency Medicine trained applicants find a clinical home during fellowship training.
