Why did you choose UCLA for Residency?

I really wanted a well balanced program that spent time at multiple types of hospitals to fully prepare me for a career anywhere. There are also so many opportunities and funding for global health, policy and education! During the interview, I noticed how excited the residents/faculty were to see each other and how close they were. I wanted to be a part of a community!

What is your favorite place to visit/thing(s) to do in/memory from living in LA? If you have never lived here before, what are you most excited about?

Anything outdoors! There is amazing hiking, skiing, surfing, beaching, camping, etc. Plus, your day off will always be 75 and sunny!
