Darlene Nguyen

Darlene Nguyen is a fourth-year Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology major at the University of California, Los Angeles. She joined EMRA in Fall 2024 and became a Program Lead in Winter 2026. Darlene currently serves as the study head for PREVENT-VILI and PRACTICAL. She also oversees weekly newsletters that support communication and coordination across all EMRA studies. In addition, she has contributed to the Mentorship Committee through helping develop the Transfer Mentorship Program. Outside of EMRA, Darlene loves discovering new hobbies, including hiking, surfing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and more.
