- Reading: I love to read non-fiction, especially history and philosophy. For me, these subjects help to illuminate the depth and breadth of human experience. My favorite books include Walden, Man's Search for Meaning, and Desert Solitaire.
- Nature: Backpacking and kayaking make me happy.
- Art: My amazing fiancé is an artist. We love to attend galleries, museums, and art shows together.
- Running: I try to run everyday. I am currently training for a half marathon.
