Teela Hamner

Teela is a fourth-year Human Biology and Society major at UCLA. She joined EMRA in Fall 2022 and became a coordinator in Winter 2024. She has been involved with the Mentorship, Research, and Health Literacy committees and is now part of the leadership team for the Mentorship and Health Literacy and Outreach Committee, as well as the co-study head of an upcoming study PREVENT-VILI. Outside of EMRA, Teela is the safety officer and social officer of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club at UCLA. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, doing martial arts, and traveling.
