About the Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG)

The Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) is UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM)’s student-run organization whose goals are to introduce students to emergency medicine.

EMIG activities include: 
•    lectures on important EM topics and a series of popular 
•    hands on sessions providing training in suturing, airway management, splinting, and ultrasound. 

EMIG offers students the opportunity to shadow EM residents working in UCLA Ronald Reagan/Olive View Emergency Medicine Program. EMIG is a great opportunity for medical students to discover their love of EM alongside their future colleagues.
