About
My name is Felisha Gonzalez and I am an Emergency Medicine Resident at Boston Medical Center with a research focus on how patient identity and social determinants influence health outcomes in the Emergency Department. I earned my medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where I helped develop a pipeline program supporting Latinx students pursuing careers in medicine through the Medical Organization for Latino Advancement (MOLA). My current work explores racial disparities in restraint use, treatment in emergency care, and bias in medical trainee evaluations. Outside of medicine, I enjoy rock climbing, baking, salsa dancing, and summit sandwiches.
